How SongSquisher Works Under the Hood
1. Acoustic Signal Analysis
Scans raw Float32Array samples to compute peak amplitude (dBFS), RMS loudness, crest factor, and silent regions below -45 dBFS.
2. Conditioning & Resampling
Applies optional peak normalization to -1.0 dBFS and 40ms de-click micro-fades, then resamples via OfflineAudioContext.
3. Parallel Worker Encoding
Transfers 16-bit PCM buffers to a background Web Worker running lamejs (1,152 samples per MP3 frame) with Android WakeLock protection.
